It was almost a year ago when Armenian Writer, director and actor, Vahik Pirhamzei broke ground in Hollywood! Pirhamzei brought us the first American comedy to use the very rich Armenian culture as a backdrop, and of course, a lead Armenian character in the hit movie ‘My Uncle Rafael’.
Pirhamzei, who has a special knack in storytelling, quickly submerged himself into a new script, but this time, to an action drama feature film. “Guardian Angel” was born! He assembled a talented production team and successfully drew in some amazing film and television actors! Production began shooting on June 18th and is currently in post production.

Synopsis
After the tragic death of his wife in a hit and run accident, Ray (Vahik Pirhamzei) the owner of a security company has withdrawn himself from society. Caging his anger, Ray becomes more frustrated with the law and the authorities’ inability to track his wife’s killers.
An aspiring model, Vicky Robertson (Justine Wachsberger) is visiting L.A. from Canada for important meetings with ad agencies. However due to her accountant father’s shady business dealings, including embezzlement from the wrong person, Vicky becomes the target of a human trafficking crew and its vicious boss, Gregor Sarkoff (Colin Cunningham).
In the light of her father’s dangerous position, Ray’s attorney cousin Shawn (Houshang Touzi) hires him to look after Vicki for a couple days as a favor to her mother—a friend of Shawn’s wife. Always loyal, Ray takes the job and puts his most trusted man Jack in charge. But when Jack has to deal with a family emergency, Ray has to personally take over the responsibility of Vicki’s safety, while at the same time, on his own mission to find the driver who murdered his wife.
Ignoring the advice of LAPD detective, Scott Jackson (Bokeem Woodbine) an expert on L.A.’s criminal underworld, Ray continues to protect Vicki and face challenges on his own terms. Uncovering more than he bargained for, Ray realizes that to save Vicki’s life he must go all in. No return. No mercy.
